Self-defined as "a collection of aural garments that have or could have been commissioned as soundtracks", belgian MADE TO MEASURE series (branch of Crammed Disc label) have excursioned since 1984 "into the vast soundscape delimited by ambient / neoclassical / chamber / travelogue / trance / meditative musics"

Their diverse list of avant artists includes among others: HECTOR ZAZOU, STEVEN BROWN, BENJAMIN LEW, AKSAK MABOUL, JOHN LURIE, MINIMAL COMPACT, YASUAKI SHIMIZU, BRION GYSIN, DAVID CUNNINGHAM...

Always liked these Minimal Compact songs. They are of very high quality, comparable to their first album. Excellent, thanks for sharing!

1.to "see" all the MtM releases go to site of Crammed Disc

2.Vol.2 is "REIVAX AU BONGO", posted at our blog
vol.5 is "GEOGRAPHIES", posted at our blog

3.Some other volumes you find at other blogs (do a blogsearch)

4. As you easily can imagine we will probably have a "crammed" problem if we post the whole catalogue (which is still in print)

5.Nevertheless we may post in the future few more MtM numbers.

6.You can tell us which one you want to listen to... and we send it through email or direct you to the place where it is already posted.

7...are you really already thinking of next Christmas??
